Computer Requirements

IsoVision does not require the purchase of a server unless all your servers are already at full capacity in terms of space or performance.
If this is your situation, here are the recommended computer requirements for the purchase of a server.

Server Requirements

  • Windows 2003/2008 (32 bits)
  • 2 GHZ Processor
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 350 MB of available hard disk space
  • No Sybase DBMS on the same server

Workstation Requirements

  • Windows XP/VISTA (32 bits)
  • 1.5 GHZ Processor
  • 512 MB RAM
  • Graphic card: 16 bits or more
  • 150 MB of available hard disk space
  • Internet Explorer 6.x/Firefox 3.x (optional / for web version only)

Network Requirements

  • Windows or Novell network
  • TCP/IP Protocol
  • LAN network: 10 MB/sec or more
  • WAN network: 128 KB/sec (with Ms Terminal Server® or equivalent technology)

Test & Training Environment (optional)


It is possible to have a second environment to test new versions and train users.

Note: A second test and training environment must be installed on a Windows® server that differs from the one used daily (in production) by IsoVision.
